Hi Mimi - Good observation about the original intent of the U.S. The pilgrims, when celebrating Thanksgiving were actually celebrating "Sukkot" or The Feast of Tabernacles - a feast of thanksgiving for the Messiah dwelling with us and for the harvest.

Did you know that Paleo Hebrew inscriptions have been found carved in stone prior to the pilgrims coming here. Look up Las Lunas New Mexico, Mystery Hill New Hampshire and Hopewell Mound, Chillicothe Ohio.

Also, March 2-4 on the Torah to the Nations broadcast we'll be having a "original roots" university. Tell your friends. You won't want to miss it. Shalom. dw

I'm excited to attend Common Ground. In the recent weeks of listening to the program, I have had a thought occur to me. Possibly the thought was prompted by my visit to Holland last spring and my opportunity in Leiden to stand in the two houses that the Mayflower pilgrims lived in before they got on the ships (FYI-there's actually an Oregon connection)- the site is the American Pilgrim museum. Anyway, as I think of those brave people who entered the unknown with their beliefs intact, I started thinking about the Common Ground teaching - here's the thought (probably one for Don to tackle, if he's brave, I think he's the political animal!)- what about the creation of the United States through the American revolution - just think how different it might have been if the same applications that Common Ground is bringing forward were known/recognized then. It boggles my mind for the constitution, the Bill of Rights, etc. Just thought I'd share where my thoughts have been lingering. Looking forward to the teaching. Please keep emphasizing that you are trying to bring teaching and unity "Speak the truth in love" - See you Sunday!
